Even in the current transfer window, Metalac does not fail to renew the part of the roster intended for young players, who will be able to contribute to the game in the rest of the season, but above all to the realization of plans for the future. The  newcomer is a young central midfielder with attacking characteristics, the young Nemanja Nedeljković. He is 19 years old and was born in Gornji Milanovac. He spent a significant part of his football career in Vojvodina through the U16, U17 and U19 selections, before he experienced the transition to the senior team in Takovo, where he worked his way through the strongest ranks of the Serbian league for two years as a first-team player. It was then natural for him to become mature enough for the senior hopes of Metalac.

This is actually my return to Metalac, – notes Nedeljković. – From the age of five to twelve, I was in the selections led by Čavorović and Ilić, so this station in my career is the end of one full circle and the beginning of a new one with the first team. In the meantime, I gained invaluable knowledge in Vojvodina with their coaches and players from my generation, such as Jovan Milošević, who is now in Stuttgart, and Mihajlo Butraković, who is already in the first team of Vojvodina. However, I have never encountered the way of working in Metalac under the leadership of Otašević. How the coaching staff now organizes and conducts training, what preparation and work systems are applied, and especially in what spirit they create an atmosphere in the collective, is completely new for me and I can already see that I will learn a lot.

Nedeljkovic will undoubtedly have strong competition in the central positions, but also a great responsibility if he is entrusted with carrying tasks during the by no means easy trials that Metalac will have to overcome if he wants to continue the upward trajectory from the last eight rounds before the break. Blue and white jelly in the upper part of the table. Nedeljkovć believes that it is very realistic and that he is not afraid of performing even in decisive matches. – I will definitely be ready for that, so we’ll see what the coach thinks. I hope they will trust me, I will do my best to deserve it, because to have a role at this very moment in Metalac, to be part of a new era and the fight to return to the biggest stage, is an incredibly significant challenge for me, especially since I am from Milanovac. We have to return Metalac to where it belongs, I hope this season in the playoffs of the First League, and then in the Super League when all the dice are in place for something like that, – said Nedeljković.
