Luka Adžić continues his career in Thailand. After parting ways with Čukarički, the former first team member of Red Star signed a two-year contract with Bangkok United. Adžić spent two years in Čukařički and after 12 goals in 65 games received a lucrative offer from Thailand, he arrived in Bangkok United without compensation. Adžić’s new club has championship ambitions, in the last two seasons he finished in second place. The championship starts in August, as well as the qualifiers for the Asian Champions League. Bangkok United reached the round of 16 in the elite Asian competition last season, where they were defeated after extra time by Japan’s Yokohama. Adžić has an interesting challenge and an opportunity to connect several seasons in Thai football, and Čukarički left after higher expectations from him at Banovo Brdo and only occasional ups and downs, such as corner goals.
